Our Vision

Transition Home began in Fall 2001 as part of the small group ministry at Vineyard Christian Fellowship North Phoenix, a church of 3,000. Our first program was a home group where we taught the principles necessary to make a transition out of the workplace. Next we developed the material into a half-day seminar, which we offered at our church. Based upon feedback, we added breakout sessions and now have a full-day seminar.

Why is There a Need for Transition Home?

Many families across America are in bondage to a two-income lifestyle. They have bought the lie that all families need two adults working outside the home to survive. The truth is that often materialism, immediate gratification and poor financial management have caused conditions where both adults need to work. Many in this situation believe there is no hope for them, even though their heart is calling them home. Others feel called to start a business, retire or take care of a family member.

Even single parents, with proper planning, can make the transition to working from home.

Transition Home Ministry offers a biblically-based approach to replacing the traditional workplace with home. We start with understanding your call, evaluate the cost of working outside the home, take a hard look at your budget, and then help you discover ways to earn income at home if necessary. An additional component is practical and emotional support once you make the transition.

Who Are We?

Lequetta Bramer worked in the recruiting and staffing industry for 10 years when she felt God was calling her home to care for her two young children. After a year of telecommuting, she began assisting her husband in his home-based business. Lequetta never lost her love for helping others find jobs and was inspired to create a team to assist those wanting to transition out of the traditional workplace and find work at home. From experience, she knew the frustration of not knowing where to begin and who to trust. Lequetta received her BA in Psychology from Pomona College in Claremont, CA.

She and her husband Brian run their business, home school and raise their three children in a small town outside of Phoenix.

"We are living proof that you really can work from home AND spend quality and quantity time with your children."
